Jailhouse (German: Prison) was a rock band founded in 1988 in Los Angeles, which dealt with social issues.
The three members Amir Derakh, Matt Thorr, and Dave Alford came from the band Rough Cutt and took their melodic hard rock style, but made this poppy. Thorr and Alford had played in Ratt. Danny Simon was frontman with Agent X and SOS. In 1989 was released on the label Restless Records the live EP Alive in a Mad World from the Roxy Club in Hollywood. The album Jailhouse was published in 1998 by the Canadian independent label Derock Records.
