The Neptune Power Federation bring back the Love Song and rock as furious as ever on their fifth studio album ‘Le Demon De L’Amour’! While rock had its heyday in the 1970s and 80s, the art of the love song is now lost in the heavier music.

Few bands are willing to venture into such terrain now – metal and rock have settled comfortably into typical, predictable lyrical tropes that no longer pull at the heartstrings the way they once did. On ‘Le Demon De L’Amour’, The Neptune Power embrace Federation the art of the love song. After the acclaimed predecessor ‘Memoirs Of A Rat Queen’, the band took advantage of the unexpected downtime afforded by the COVID-19 pandemic to create an album that takes more risks than its predecessor. While the band’s signature rock and prog tendencies still come into play, Le Demon ramps up the tension and energy. A variety of genre blurring takes place, but always with infectious choruses and leaden riffs from the glorious era of metal and rock. The LP will follow in March due to current production schedules!
