I live too fast to die young, it ain’t nothing when head’s screwed on,? roars electrifying frontman Michael Monroe on his second album for Silver Lining Music. A great rock ‘n’ roll album, ‘I Live Too Fast To Die Young” – an honest cry from the heart.
At a time when having fun isn’t easy, “I Live Too Fast To Die Young” comes as a straight-forward, sassy album of raw rock ‘n’ roll music – hearty songs like “Young Drunks & Old Alcoholics,” “All Fighter and the punky “Murder The Summer Of Love”. The songs bring fresh, crisp electricity and melodies that shimmer around razor-sharp riffs. Extended, Stones-tinged tracks also exist like “Can’t Stop Falling Apart” and “Everybody’s Nobody,” while the title track aims right between your eyes, with a brash back beat and a cheeky chorus, beautifully and magnificently staged with Michael Monroe’s irrepressible, exciting pose – with his great attitude. The album was recorded at Inkfish Studios in Helsinki, Finland in November/December 2021 and was produced by the band together with Erno Laitinen.

Michael Monroe (vocals and harmonica), Steve Conte (guitar and vocals), Rich Jones (guitar and vocals), Karl Rockfist (drums) and Sami Yaffa (bass/vocals/guitar) and some guest musicians; under including legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who can be heard with a solo and additional guitar on the title track.
