All we know the melodic hard rock side of Paul Sabu since the mid-Eighties as solo artist, while also collaborating with the likes of David Bowie and Madonna to Precious Metal, Silent Rage, and many others in between.
But a young Sabu started his career in the Seventies recording some stuff mixing the popular ‘disco music’ of the era with Rock.
The band or alter ego Kidd Glove was his first approach to pure Melodic Rock, with an AOR / Radio Rock sound typical of the year (1984) in the U.S. We already featured here the YesterRock and Rock Candy Records reissues of the self-titled album “Kidd Glove”.

But there’s other version – requested here – appeared in 1995 via excellent label Long Island Records, an oasis in the Nineties for classic Melodic Hard Rock as they were one of the few supporting artists from the genre and reissuing for the first time on CD many out of print LP’s.
Titled ”Kidd Glove / Paul Sabu”, the CD includes the entire 10-track Kidd Glove 1984 album plus many (9) Paul Sabu songs at the time very hard to find, a couple of these that still exclusively belongs to this release, a numbered limited edition pressed on gold disc, remastered, and with a complete booklet.
