Nightingale, a band from Basilicata (Matera) was formed in 2000 from an idea by Piero Delucia who wants to create a metal-prog band with original ideas and a personal style. So he joins two old friends: Paolo Ruggieri on drums and Francesco D’Ercole on keyboards that only bass player Alessandro Ruggieri has in common.

After a profitable activity on stage, during which he adds to the group in a definitive way Nicola Ruggieri at the bass (now also out of line-up) and a long gestation in the summer of 2003 give the first CD Daylight Saving Time.
