Thunder Rising this Born out of Italian guitarist Frank Caruso, best known for his many projects including Firehouse, Arachnes and Vivaldi Metal Project, the band Thunder Rising are back with a brand new album called Back to the Time of Rock, the latest studio effort from the band, back on the record market. Now he have material Back to the Time of Rock released in 2022.
A rocking, melodic sound, hyper-technical and exquisitely hard rocking: that’s Thunder Rising, who since their debut (with Mark Boals) have always pursued their own musical dimension and have expanded it step by step.
Back To The Time Of Rock, out March 4, 2022, is their first album to be released on Music For The Masses. Twelve extraordinary tracks, a real-time journey to rediscover sounds from the past but in a modern key capable of impressing and intriguing any listener.
We would also like to point out a bonus track that will only be available on the CD version and not in the digital stores: “Stairs to the Top”.
The band is currently filming the video clip for the first single “Fate Train” which will be released in the coming weeks.
The Thunder Rising project was born in 2012 from an idea by Frank Caruso and Corrado “Nail” Ciceri. The two old friends met again by chance after twenty years when they formed their first band called Firehouse in 1986 which would go on to release two albums across Europe. It was during these years that they fell in love with the voice of Mark Boals, then the lead singer of guitar phenomenon Y.J.Malmsteen!
After twenty years with different musical careers: Frank Caruso (with Arachnes, with whom he has released eight albums, and Strings24, of which Frank is the founder and editor of two albums) and Corrado Ciceri (with his fifteen years with the band Wine Spirit on the major live stages like Gods Of Metal, Metal Mèan Festival, Glenn Hughes, Alvin Lee and many others and four albums released worldwide) reunited to start a new project.
