Drive At Night opens their debut album “Echoes Of An Era” with the song “The 80s Calling” and that title sums up the whole album in a good way. For this is really like coming back to the glorious 80’s with all that it meant.

The lyrics are sometimes a bit cliché, but if you ignore it, Joachim Nordlund and Johan Lindstedt have managed to make a really strong debut. Here you can find competent songs such as the aforementioned “The 80s Calling” as well as the tracks “Youth Of Today”, “Partners In Crime”, “Weekend Fun”, “Wild In The Streets”, “Time” and “High Enough” (the album’s best song). The calmest song is called “Endless Kind Of Love”, which is very reminiscent of Extreme´’s classic “More Than Words”.
