Norwegian female magical and enchanting vocalist LIV KRISTINE is set to re-release her “Enter My Religion” album completely remastered and with an extra disc of previously unreleased material. The album will be released as well for the first time on vinyl with an extra 7” single, and on cassette with two bonus tracks.

The album was remastered at Andy Classen’s Stage One Studio but not only the sound has been refined; also the cover artwork.
The former Theatre Of Tragedy and Leaves’ Eyes vocalist wanted something different for this solo album “Enter My Religion” – showcase a different side than the metal related music she was doing before. The songs here have some kind of melancholic pop-rock feel geared towards a non-metal audience.
It’s an album with commercial tracks most of them under the 4 minute mark, a multi-faceted piece of work including light rockers and ballads as well.

For uptempo numbers check the pumping ‘Over The Moon’, ‘My Revelation’ or ‘All The Time In The World’, then you find nice slow ballads on ‘Fake A Smile’ and ‘Blue Emptiness’ where Liv’s voice charmingly taking center stage. All very melodic and instantly likable.
Liv’s voice isn’t bombastic as with her metal bands, he go for sweet melodies / harmonies here. The title track ‘Enter my Religion’ is a mid-tempo anthem with a wise appeal to your inner self, your self-esteem, happiness and creativity. Pleasing harmonies are in the foreground in the warm and soothing composition ‘Coming Home’.

‘Streets of Philadelphia’ – Bruce Springsteen’s theme song to the Oscar-winning movie – was interpreted as a tribute. The arrangements being technically based on the original, Kristine adds new and softer accents to the track.
“You Take Me Higher” is extraordinarily different and more dance-oriented, with a subtle drum’n’bass overlay. With ‘Trapped in Your Labyrinth’ and the aforementioned ‘Fake a Smile’ Liv spoils her listeners with profoundly sensual ballads. There’s fairy-like singing, accentuated by piano sounds.

“Enter My Religion” convinces as a spicy and varied album pop-rock album with an European sound. The blond Norwegian succeeds in creating a fine collection of songs with romantic touches, which never slips into kitsch.
