As requested, here’s a great slice of classic rocking music: FAST EDDIE CLARKE 1994’s solo album “It Ain’t Over ‘Till It’s Over“. Not all fans of the Motorhead & Fastway guitarist are aware of this album, released via a small record label.

This is the German release – different cover art – in its second pressing, much better in sound quality than the original, lifeless flat edition.
Musically this is bluesy based hard rock, timeless rock n’ roll by one of the best Rock guitar players of his generation. Eddie is joined by bassist Mel Gabbitas (Paul DiAnno band), drummer Pete Riley (Keith Emerson band), and former bandmate Lemmy co-wrote & performs lead vocals on one track.
Speaking about vocals, Eddie does al lead singing on the album. His voice is in the Gene Simmons-type spectrum, not the gorgeous vocalist in the world however fits these rockin’ tunes with ease. The excellent John Sloman (Uriah Heep, UFO, Gary Moore) helps with harmony / backing vocals.

Tunes that totally rock out include “No Satisfaction”, “Snakebite”, “Laughing At The Devil” (which features Lemmy on lead vocals) and “In The City” – just to mention a few.
Fast Eddie delivers a solid and rocking effort that just sounds good and it’s easy to enjoy. He plays his trademark Fender Stratocaster with a lively style, and the listener can feel the man is having fun. And that makes it fun to play aloud.
