Sleaszy Rider Records will release NASTY RATZ new album “Third Cut” dropping on October 4th. Produced by the legendary Martin Sweet of Crashdiet and mastered by expert Thomas “Plec” Johansson in the Panic Room, Sweden, this new 10-tracker is packed with raw energy and killer riffs. Swan Hellion, singer, guitarist of sleaze rockers BlackRain appears as guest.
Songs like ‘Beat The Bullet’, ‘Beat The Bullet’, ‘Set You Free’ (co-written by Sweet) or ‘Sick & Twisted’ (feat Swan Hellion) are hard-hitting numbers remisncent of Crazy Lixx, Hardcore Superstar, Vain, and of course, CrashDiet. Martin Sweet play on closer ‘Demons’, also featuring John Wolfhooker‘s very own dynamic frontman, Martin Cupka.
While at the core NASTY RATZ are an ’80s sleaze influenced act, we hear many adrenaline-pumping riffs more in common with hard rock from the Scandianavian factory. The band does not forget the hooks and catchy choruses, served with a street attitude yet as happens with all the records with Martin Sweet involved, the sound is clean & powerful.
“Third Cut” amalgams everything needed to take NASTY RATZ to the next level: solid fun n’ catchy songwriting, improved musicianship and a stellar production for this type of rock n’ roll. It’s Euro sleaze, but with a hard rock nerve in the Scandinavian current sound.
