And here we have more rare stuff featuring great singer Dino Jelusic: the Croatian progressive metal band THE RALPH previously had a female vocalist and were looking for more power for their album titled ”Enter Escape”.
Recorded in 2017, all lyrics on ”Enter Escape” are in English, and musically these guys are second to none with a dynamic modern progressive sound and detailed arrangements. Production & mix are excellent, and of course Jelusic shines elevating these songs to upper-level.
Jelusic put emphasis on each song to give the vocal work a distinct feeling as the songs are pretty varied, with tons of guitar / keyboard interplay akin Dream Theater, Sons Of Apollo, etc. Dino shows his abilities to morph between registers at the service of the composition.
Not only for the joy to listen Dino Jelusic’s voice, THE RALPH’s ”Enter Escape” album itself is more than a pleasant find, a quality product on all aspects. It was a limited edition CD, out of print now.
